Um new mother here, this is kind of embarassing but what are they for and how do you use them? Ive seen them in the stores w the lil baggies inside the bottles, does it have something to do w pumped breastmilk? Thank you :">

  • They're just one type of bottle system, they make it easy if your pumping and freezing because you can pump right into them and store them in the freezer and then just heat them up in warm water when u wanna use them and then drop them into the bottle and your good to go !! That's the system I'm using and I'm hoping they're as good as I have heard they are!
    Hopefully that helped.
  • this is my first baby but ive baby sat befor you just put the plastic thingy in there and when ur babys done eating you can just throw the plastic thing out and keep the bottle so you dont have to completly wash the bottle evverytime.. you do have to wash it still like the nipple especially just dont really have to wash the whole bottle. Its a really great idea if you ask me.
  • Oh and if your not pumping they're still good to use because it cuts down on the amount of air bubbles in the bottles because of the baggie system and that helps with colic babies :)
  • Playtex makes them but you can buy other name brand drop ins from anywhere, Walmart, Target and I just saw the BJ's carries them. And it's cheaper that way too.
  • Loved them!! Clean, easy, and you can squish All the air out!!
  • I swear by them, pumping or not. They are so convenient, disposable and easy to use. It's nice only having to wash nipples as opposed to complete bottles! I used them with my son and plan on using them with my daughter when I'm not able to breastfeed.
  • Used them with my daughter. They were great and helped cut back on a gassy baby. Definately will be using them with this baby too!
  • Loved using the playtex drop ins. So easy and convenient w/not as much to clean up.
  • Thank u baby mamas sounds like a good idea. I hope they come with instruction manuals ;)
  • I have playtex drop-in bottles from 1992 they were my nieces and nephews bottles.I have used them with all 4 of my kids and I am going to use them with baby #5 as well.I swear by them.<3 <3 <3 them.
My friend had a baby her 3rd baby in march and I told her to stick with them bc I got her to use them for her 1st and 2nd babies.she wanted to try the avent.then she tried dr.brown and went back to Playtex drop ins and said she should have listened to me.lol.
  • that's the system I'm using everybody swears by them and my Mom used them with all 4 of us kids. i got two starter kits and about 4 single bottles and that should be enough to start with. and those other brands of liners are convienent because they all work for the bottles.
highly recommended by my family :)
  • Yeah that's all I used for my first two and will use for this one too. Some ppl may think their too expensive but so convienient for you and baby! Worth every penny!
  • I used them with my daughter 3 years ago and i loved them.
