I have a four month old little girl, and i'm 5 weeks 2 days pregnant, and i've got a sore throat and blocked up nose. Basically the flu! What can I take?

I'm also being sick mainly at night but duing the day I keep falling to sleep while my daughter is a sleep is this natural duing second pregnancy?

  • Any kinda cold/flu tylenol brand is safe
  • limsip? They alright
  • Call your doctor before you take anything specifically cold/flu related, but tylenol and cepacol drops are safe for your sore throat. It sounds like what you have is a cold, not the flu. If you are having lots of aches and pains, very severe exhaustion, a fever and a very dry cough you may have the flu, and then you should go immediately to your doctor for diagnosis and treatment-the fever can get very high and be a risk for your baby. Exhaustion without the other symptoms is perfectly common in pregnancy, as is a blocked up nose.
