what do you ladies think??

edited May 2011 in Pregnant
Have had cramps like bad period cramps all day long and about four hours ago the pain started to wrap around to my lower back. There not really timeable and I have tried a bath, glasses and glasses of water, exersize ball, and tried walking to see if they would stop. Should I go into l&d or wait to see if they get stronger?? I'm 35 weeks and was dialated to 1cm about a week ago.
Please give your thoughts and advice. I would really appreciate it.

  • Go To L&&D
  • @mommyy2be & @zexy4da011 do you think I could be going into labor. Since its been going on all day? Wouldn't it have gotten stronger by now? I didn't go into labor with my son I had a csection so I'm not really sure. But I'm laying down right now and it still hurts.
  • you could be having early contractions if it gets to b bout every ten then yeah definitely
  • Sometimes it would get stronger it depends on how you tolerate pain
  • @zexy4da011 its really constant like it doesn't let up. Its not timeable. Or I just can't seem to really time them. Idk I think I'm gonna go in pretty soon I don't see them getting better only worse.
  • yeah go in cause you're nine out of ten its time they will put u on a monitor and monitor the contractions sounds definitely like it
  • Ok thank you. I will definatly update in a bit.
  • I was a prior c section too. This time around I have a lot of what you mentioned. I go to l & d and I'm never dilated.... ugh but I had back labor w/ daughter #1 so I don't even know when its a contraction.. I'd say go anytime you're unsure. I do. If they get annoyed, then oh well. Safety 1st.... anyway I know this post is from last night, So I hope you're doing okay!
  • any updates???
  • L&d hun caz if u are they can stop them
  • Sorry for not updating today. Last night I ended up just laying down and fell asleep I still got them throughout the night but woke up this morning and it was gone. I'm thinking my baby girl dropped because my stomach got very low and my pelvic bone is killing me. I'm guessing that's why I had the cramping and back pain last night. Thanks for all the advice. @lexi34 @ittybitty @kphillips @zexy4da011@mommyy2be
  • @having_a_girl I called my high risk Dr about it, because mine were pretty awful. He said "well, you've been having the pain for a few days, and I don't see a baby, so you're not in labor". Lol he's funny. But he did tell me to rest and come in if it gets worse. So, idk if that'll help you, but That's what my doc says! :-)
  • well thats good :)
