name change....right or wrong?

Bd and I aren't together anymore. I'm 32 weeks pregnant. I'm not goingto lie I didn't do the best when it came to picking him out. Anyway, he wants nothing to do with the baby. He is actually inpatient enough to the point where he asked how he can give me prental rights before the baby is even born. We had baby names picked out but now that he has nothing to do with the baby I want to change the baby's name. Do u think that it is wrong to change it from that names we had picked out to something I pick out???

I have already picked out a name that I love but didn't know if it was wrong to want to change it because he is the father of the child. Not a goood one but the father. But now I don't feel so bad about wanting to change it.

No hesitation and no guilt. If he doesn't have anything to give your baby, then he doesn't have any right to help name your baby.

If you feel the need to change it, by al means, do it! Baby is not here and the name isn't set in stone like it would be of (s)he was here so better do it now before baby is here!

Change it girl! If he wants to give up the rights already its not even really his baby! That is ur child! If u want to call him shit head by all means do!....although I must warn u the teachers might b concerned lol

@rckprincess2 thanks. My name is not that harsh but something to take in to consideration. LOL

I feel like the baby himself is a reminder of his father that I will have every day. I dont want the name to also be a reminder of a guy that couldnt make a damn sacrafice for his child. It would be different if he was helping or had helped out but NOTHING. I mean nothing! I have never seen a dime from this man. He talks a good talk and can write a good book....but he cant do crap when it comes to following through on anything. Im not feeling bad about changing the name anymore. He will be mamas boy!! Plus he has a brother and a sister that cant wait to see him.

CHANGE HIS NAME! I posted a discussion about how I deeply regret my daughter's name for the exact same reason. 5 years later & he has nothing to do w/ her.

It was Julien (capone/his choice middle name) to Alexzander lucas or Alexzander caleb (my daughters pick). We would call him zander for a nick name.

Alexander is my sons middle name. I really like Alexzander Lucas, if your daughter helped pick it out then that makes it even better. My daughter wants to name her sister Hannah Montana (gag)
