if u don't want them to bring kids i would reserve seats like wedding invites. like if its a couple with kids put on the invitation that u have 2 seats reserved for them. that should be clear.
I didn't invite them but know that people will bring them. Just kinda hope that they keep them under control.. and that there are enough seats accounted for.
