  • I'm sorry, I don't really know too much, but don't feel embarrassed to ask your midwife. That's what you're paying them for, and that's what they're there for. And I'm sure they get asked a lot of similar questions, so it's nothing new to them.

  • I've had bad pubic bone pain since I was about 28wks and I am now overdue. Unfortunately its normal and your midwife wont be able to do much for you. I really recommend buying a maternity support belt, it's the only thing I found to give me any relief from the pain.
  • The baby is getting in position... Absolutely normal. It actually hurts more during the final weeks. I am 37 weeks with my second and the first stand up in the morning is the worst. Also, dont ever hold back from asking ur midwife questions. Its always better asking and knowing for the sake of the baby.

OMG I LOVE U ALL Sovery much I AM SO HAPPY N THANKFUL THAT I HV U GUYS .... :.( too much happiness making me cry
  • Look up or Google spd during pregnancy. I've been having unbearable pain in my pelvic area too... even can't walk sometimes. I can feel my pelvis bone popping too. I haven't asked my Dr yet but I plan to. Good luck hun.
  • Well I had those pains my whole pregnancy (with my 2nd) I still kinda have them. I was told that its my joints loosening up to help baby come out..she said it happens with 2nd babies because your body has already been stretched once before so this time things arent as tight and therefore stretch more easily. Sleep with a pillow between ur knees. I had to have a pillow for my knees otherwise I couldnt sleep.
it hurts so bad and def sux! But it is somewhat of a good thing because it helps u have an easier delievery. Just be glad you didnt suffer from it since thr first trimester like my self :) good luck, it will go away once baby comes (well for the most part)

  • @wallieheadbaby3 thats a good idea i,ll google it now thanks lot being preggo makes u forgot very basic thing :)
  • @summergirl22 thanks for ur kind word I am happy that its kinda normal .... Will try pillow tonite :) thanks once again
  • @firsttimemommytobe yeah it might be that n I hope too its baby getting in position coz its painful n on my next visit will defntly ask my midewife :)
  • No problem :) with 2nd babies it is common, and normal. Oh also try to keep ur legs together while getting up, rather then swinging one leg out and then the other. If you keep them together (its a little more difficult to do but it is managable) it wont hurt as much. oh and dont get worried if ur tailbone starts to hurt too, its all attached to your pelvic bone so it can cause pain there to. I had tailbone pain for a few days till it went away, it hurt so bad. Im sorry you have this pain :( it sux
  • These are the kind of questions to ask your mid wife...the baby is getting ready
  • I was and still am having pelvic pain my dr said its the pelvis streching and moving apart to make room for baby
  • Does It Feel Like Yu Always Have To Pee Now? @lubz
  • I had that....my midwife said to try to take it easy and not to lift too much. It was so bad one day I could barely walk (I had been landscaping the fay before )
I hope it eases up for you though.
  • I have the same thing I'm 32 wks. Some days it hurts like Hell even hard to get comfy in bed even. I asked my doc she said normal its spreading apart she said some people have it really bad (painful) others don't feel it at all. It sucks though :(
  • I was just about to ask this question because it gets worst at night and ok the morning when I get up. Glad to read its not just me. I still plan to ask my doctor just on case am 28 weeks 5 days today.
  • I just asked my ob that last time I went in, he said that us the round ligament itself and its just round ligament pain.
