I wasnt TTC, but I also wasnt stopping it either. Fiance was at UGA for a Rodeo, and I had a dream I was pregnant. Woke up and took and test, it was really old and had been in the trunk of my car for like 6 or so months and I didnt know if it was a real + or just a heat line. Called fiance and he dropped the phone, broke it and everything. He said nahhh, not this soon! ( I hadnt even missed a period) then when he got back home, he made me pee on the ones that say PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. Well, I peed and before I could finish peeing and put it on the counter it said PREGNANT. Now 16W3D with a healthy baby (:
I had been feeling sick since mid-december no appetite constant nausea....my mom said to me Jan 19th are you pregnant? I said no bc I had taken a pregnancy test mid-december which was negative...and my fiance had just gotten home from a yr in korea...baby was conceived 3 days after he came home lol...I knew there had been one night we weren't careful so first thing jan 20th I was waiting for my fiance to come to my house with a test he wasn't close yet (he lives 30 mins away from me) and I had to really pee so I went and got one myself. Peed on the stick...INSTANT positive. I bawled. Called fiance, he was shocked as well. Very bad timing as I had *just* graduated nursing school, no job since I didn't take my nclex yet...took in feb and passed, but still no job lol...I was in severe denial til we found out it was a boy on 4/11/11...now 32+4, he's healthy, and I can't wait to meet him :X
I know...I'm glad he did the test....cuz I didn't even think I was pregnana though now thinking back all the symptoms were there....thanks for posting...keep in touch n take care sweety
I found out I was prego last yr while I was at work I felt faint and somewhat dizzy so I went to our work clinic...the nurse asked a couple questions and ran some test and of course led to "oh you might be prego" so she waited for the hcg test response which first she said " oh you r not prego theres nothing to worry about..you just need rest, but lets just wait for a few more moments"....she looks at a chart and writes some info down and looks at the tests again and says wait a minute...there is a very faint line here but it is here....did another and it came out the same... And that was around sept/oct....I was on the shot and the pill at that time..end up having a miscarriage in November and had a dnc....I would say exactly the week after my procedure my bf and I had what I call mourning sex and we conceived...I took another test because again I felt faint(2months later) and the lines were definitely darker and positive
My husband told me to take a test. He says because he noticed how tired I'd been lately (which is true), but I'm pretty sure the main reason was I'd been acting like a b*tch and he was praying to god that was the reason!
w my first i had no symptoms other than no af for 2months----mind u i was 17 and had irregular af so i thought nothing of it but my mom already knew and she made me take a test! I was so sure i wasnt that we even had a bet! lol I lost......2nd time around (my oldest was 9 months old!) I prolly knew the day i conceived (my bday ) :"> I swore i had "symptoms" and i was on bc and we used condoms to b extra safe but the condom broke that one time and hubby didnt say anything till after bc he wasnt sure if it did & he figured we were fine bc i was still on BC and well yea we decided to wait until i officially missed af -----> i couldnt wait !! so i took one like 2 wks later while hubby was sleeping and it came back + and OMG did i wake him up so MAD lmao bc it was too soon but oh well we were still very happy!! And now im here ttc #3 and man what a different feeling it is to actually plan a pregnancy its no nerve wrecking so hopefully i can tell u this story in the future of how i find out the 3rd time! lol
Well my hubby and i lost our son at 16 wks oct 27, 2010 and decided after my period in november we were not going to try to stop anything from.happening and I stopped.my pill well the day before christmas eve.he comes to me and says I think your.pregnant and I told.him he was crazy. Well on christmas eve.I had to make a quick run to dollar store for.more tape for.presents and while.I.was there.I got a test. When I got home I didn't tell hubby I just went in and took the test mind you this was at like 10am. It was positive!! So all day I kept trying to find an excuse to get back to the dollar store to get another test I didn't want to tell hubby and get his hopes up just to be let down after everything we had been through in oct. So I finally told him I forgot.to get a card for my grandma whom we were going to her house for.dinner. so he says we can stop on our way there. Ok so I.had no reason to rush it so I agreed that was.fine mean while I am so distracted I can't keep my mind on anything but that test. So I stick the 1st test in my purse and we leave for dinner finally I could stop waiting but we got the test and the card lol and drove the half an hour drive.there. I was going.crazy so as soon as we got there I went straight to the.bathroom. and sure enough it was positive so I wrapped both tests up in extra tissue paper and put them back in.the.dollar store.bag.and when it was time to open gifts I hand it to my hubby he said "wow this is so expensive you shouldn't have.lol" I just replied its not the.wrapping that counts its what's inside. And when he finally got it all unwrapped I said "merry christmas it is 18yrs more expensive then you thought lol!!!" He was so happy!!!
My first two id have typical period symptoms (big sore boobs,cramps, ONEzit) for a day or two a week before period was due and when it didn't come, tested and boom. this one? We stopped using protection when we found out we were pregnant (she turned 3 in may and was a condom baby lol) started actively trying 7-4-10, my period had been coming on time since that may but during the fall due to stress it would be 1-3 days late and id take a test see negative and period would come later that day or the next. By December I decided to stop figuring out ovulation etc. January got my period sometime between 25-27 and I remember the last day of it I stocked up on tampons-really good sale lol my bday was 2/24 and 2 full weeks before that I was always warm everytime hubby touched me laying in bed he said I felt like I was on fire. My boobs were ginormous and HURTING BAD,peeing all the time and constipated,zits everywhere. I googled the boob issue and came up with pregnancy or cancer bday was on a Thursday took a test-negative. Took another one Friday-negative. At work after lifting a huge ass dog into the tub, when I went to the bathroom and wiped there was a tinge of pink so I thought sweet its coming. Yeah not so much lol tested again Wednesday and boom positive. Went to a place for confirmation the following Thursday, they did a vaginal ultrasound(after pee test) and said I was 6w6d. Ill be 23 w tomorrow
We had a MC in november I was only like 4-5 weeks so we decided to keep ttc. I knew when I ovulated and that week he was mine more then normal LOL. We married in Jan and joked that god wanted us to do this right this time around (love, marriage, then baby) We actually got pregnant in March and as a joke in April af was late by a few hours so I was like take a test yeah before I got up from peeing it said "pregnant" called my hubby after the pic text wouldn't go thru and told him. He was so damn excited!! Now at 18 weeks can't wait to confirm we are having a boy!
My body told me, lol. Idk I just felt really weird. I kept feeling this tightening feeling above my vajayjay. My bf and I had been talking about the possibility of me being pregnant as well. So I went to Walmart and bought a First Response with 3 tests in the box. I went home and took one and it was immediately positive. I took another one in the morning just to be sure and it was the same result. So here I am! Pregnant and Fabulous! :-h
Period was late which wasnt out of the ordinary.. So on valentines day i took a test just to shut my fiance up(he'd been worrying about it the last few days) To my severe shock it was positive and im now 26 weeks and little Emi Rachel is due in september:)
i was ttc since sept '10 and nothing i started getting discourage the on jan '11 i did a test because i was late a wk but i didnt think i was and it was positive did 7 test after that and there was my babygirl ill never forget that day :X
