@1stwoodsbaby I thought about the name spelling issue but my name is Melissa, simple right? yet I always get Mellisa, Malisa or something else crazy. I think a lot of people just can't spell no matter how simple the name lol.
@azmom I am so glad I am having a girl because my fiance had some odd boy names. Jett reminds me of a handsome romance novel character
@urmomwasright thanks, I used my moms middle name for the babys and the rr alliteration worked better than I anticipated!
Lol @preggointx . You are right. I knows it's not right but racially identifying names dont always work the best. I wanted something not overused but you didn't know what race she was till she showed up. Already thinking about job interviews lol.
@texasmomof3I was thinking the same on the nickname!
@romeike it's not that it necessarily matters, I just prefer a name that doesn't racially label my child. I like ambiguous names that won't have her stereotyped before meeting someone
NO MY NAME IS CONNIE ...VERY SIMPLE NOT ETHNIC T ALL IT'S JUST SO BORING MY SONS NAME IS CARTIER AMEIR PRONOUNCED CAR-T-A A-MEERE IT'S FRENCH L,IKE MY CREOLE SIDE OF THE FAMILY NOT CONSERVATIVE AT ALL IF I WAS HAVING A GIRL I WAS NAMING HER COUTURE....EITHER WAY YEP IT'S ETHNIC...LOL
I like both of those names. especially Cartier! If you have a little girl later you can have Cartier and Couture. Cute and expensive! you couldn't just do old navy our gap lol.
@ceegsmommy75 I dont know about the origin; could be an irish name but I'm black and will use it for my little girl. I heard so many different guesses about the race I am convinced her name won't label her which is good
