Had to get on it because I'm no longer working. Do you know how long it takes from the time I submitt everything over? Its been like a week and I had to miss my doctors appt this month
They will back pay if you explain to your doctor so you can still go to your appointments. I had medicaid with my first child and i think it can take up to 1 month.
I submitted mine online and it took them about a week to get back to me and a month for it to kick in. Your pregnant so it shouldn't take them that long.
@addi3886 Yeah I did it online, the guy called me a week later, asked me to come in and fill out some papers, gave me all my stuff including food stamps, and that was it. I got to skip in front of all those ppl waiting as well.
It's better if you go into the office. The internet /mailing it isn't any good. They'll claim they didn't get anything,or something else can go wrong with it. I go into the Office for everything.
It took a like a week or two for mine to approve, they push pregnant woman to the front of the line. I called and checked on it too, they should be able to tell you something.
