I JUSS FOUND OUT I'M PREG ON SUNDAY. ACCORDING TO MY LAST PERIOD I'M AROUND 4 WEEKS &&4 DAYS DUE ON. I HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE DR YET THO WHEN SHOULD I START MAKING MY FIRST DRS APPT CAN ANYBODY GIVE MR ADVICE THANX ;)

    No I still don't. Do I get them from my Dr or can o get them at a pharmacy ? So you're having your first Dr appt tomorrow ?

    Buy some vitamins at the pharmacy and u can ask the pharmasist to recommend some thats what i did and call your gyno tomorrow n tell them how far u are and they will make an appointment for to come in between 8-12 weeks but call them asap because some officss are busy and spots fill up u don't want to be 15 weeks or more before u see a dr i was 13 weeks when i got my first appointment

    My sister sees the same gyno as I do &&she's 14 weeks preg the Dr already gave her 2 bottles of prenatals she offered me a bottle meanwhile I make my 1st appt. Should I go ahead &&take hers ?

    Yes! Start taking prenatals ASAP! My doctor gave me some about a month before I was pregnant since we were trying to conceive. Make sure they have dha. I'm due Oct. 5th my first doctors appt is today and I'm super excited. Will let u know what to expect. Congrats!

    me and my sister are preggo too... shes due in may i believe and im due in october... funny because we are exactly 9 months apart.... (we arent blood sisters.) her mom and my mom were bffs and my mom gave birth to me the day her mom found out she was preggo...we've been sisters since that day and now we are preggo together...so excited

    @lentoswifey drs appt went well. I got to see the little peanut and see the heart beating. Too early to hear. I'm actually 6w4d and due on 10/10 my bday!!! Since I'm earlier then we thought she scheduled another one in 3 weeks. Hopefully will be able to hear the heartbeat. Other then that I got a pap and a vaginal u/s and everything looked good.

So you're getting a very nice bday qift this year ;) I can't make an appt yet cus my work schedule varies every week &&they don't tell me in advance my days off so idk how I'm going to be able to make the drs appt without having to cancel cus of work :( i HATE my job

    @lentoswifey that's not cool. I hate your job too! Where do u work. Are u waiting to tell them? Maybe u can say you need to go to the doctor for a female problem so u need to take off.

    @flyingmomtobe I work at The Mirage its a casino here in Las Vegas. The thing is they're real strict about attendance &&don't care if you're bleeding while you're working you HAVE to be there. They don't care about our problems at all. They're not understanding.

    Lentoswifey. My Dr recommended Flintstones complete twice a day. Folic acid helps to keep things from going wrong and is very important so you need to ensure you are getting enough of it.. the sooner you take vitamins the better.

    @lentoswifey I've heard about those stupid labor laws in Vegas or lack there of. My cousin works at Moon. That really stinks. Hopefully they will be more understanding knowing you have a little one on the way. Saying prayers for you. I'm a flight attendant out of Houston so I know it will be tough on me working around my schedule and stuff. I've already decided this baby has to come first. God will take care of the rest. My hubbys not working right now so I need to work as much as possible. But the babys health overrides. Make the appointment or maybe if u have to reschedule they can work u in on your day off.

    I am 12 weeks pregnant today, I have 2 boys, Make the appointment as soon as you can and prenantal vits are important......It seems i go to the doctor once a week . I am high risk. I also Was pregnant with my sister.....about 9 years ago.....our kids are just 8 days apart.......mom thought she was going crazy running from hospital to hospital for a while. It was great now I am pregnant by my self......cause everyone else is done having babies......I am 31 and this is my 3rd.....

    @flyingmomtobe That's how I feel cus riqht now my husband isn't workinq either so I really need the hours at work to save more money for the baby &&other expenses but like you said my baby also comes first. I quess I will just have to make an appt &&call in to work they have to understand im not a machine. They're just so strict there. Like they qive us a 11 point attendance policy that means each day I call in sick its one whole point &&if I qet less than 8 points they clear each year on Jan 1. But if I do qet to 8 points I have to qo 6 full months perfect attendance which means I can't be late or call in &&that seems like too much stress. That's why I would've wanted to just qo on a day off but since I never know more than a week advance idk how to do this.&&My family's ob/gyn only works til 12pm Mon-Wed &&Thur+Friday til 5pm so his schedule doesn't help me either ha ha ha I'm tellinq you qirl this job comes with so much stress stress stress. I can't wait til I qet further into the preqnancy &&quit ;)

    @Tammy1979 Well you're the same age as my sister she's also 31 she's preqnant with her 2nd. Why do you have to qo each week to the Dr what makes your hiqh risk ?

    @lentoswifey I completely understand. My job works on a point system kinda like yours. It sucks. How far along are u again? My doctor said its best to wait till you're 8 weeks or so. You gotta do what u gotta do. Hang in there.
