Does this sound like contractions? FTM

I will be 36wks on Tues, but for the last couple days I have been having some tightness and pain low. I had a nst on friday and I am definatly some, cause they registered. Today I have had ALOT of pressure, to the point where it is hard to walk, menstral like cramps that are getting more painful and really low back pain witj the cramps. The cramps are coming in waves, about every 7-10mins. Any ideas?

@october15baby you are beyond correct with the show idea!!!

Drink water, lay on your left side and wait an hour..if they still are happening, call doc or l&d and when they tell you to do that, tell them you already have.

Laying down hasn't helped, walking around makes no difference. If I drink anymor water I think I will float away. I have had 14 in the 2hrs. I think I might give the dr a call.

Lol my hubby gets concerned and mad at me if I dont tell him when things happen... He is thr one that says.. Call the dr lol

Keep us posted.. at 36 weeks they probably wont stop it because baby will be just fine!!

I am going to get a nst at l&d. We are on our way now. My dr said friday that if it happen she wouldn't stop it, but the stupid on call dr I talked to said cause technically I am 35wks 5 days they would give me at least one shot to try to stop it. That kinda annoys me.

Trust.. you WILL know when you have real contractions. I used to get confused too when I was closer to my dd. But I went into labor the day before, they were unmistakable! Had her on her dd.

Thank you for the concern ladies. It was just some stupid false labor. But I am glad for that. She needs to bake a few more weeks. I am not dilating yet, so that is good. Just modified bedrest now.
