I'm 35+4 today & the last few nights when I lie down to sleep my hips really hurt. I believe it's probably them widening & preparing, but just wondered when this happened to everyone else...
Been happening to me since 29 weeks.. its normal just wait until your pelvic bones start cracking and popping I hope it don't happen to you kuz it hurts but then again takes some soreness away.. so idk but Dr said its normal.
I've had a lot of loose feelings in those joints too & about 4wks ago had sharp pains way low that the dr said was things separating...so now I would like to know if this is temporary or continues until birth? It's driving met nuts &I can't hardly sleep!
@Rodeoqueen13 A prenatal massage could really help relax and stretch the muscles that are pulling in your hips. My masseuse did a wonderful job when I told her I was having hip pain. She had me lay on my side and pushed on my hip, pushing it kinda towards my feet. Seriously, amazing. You could also try having someone push up and in on your hips. Hands and knees, then have them lift on the sides of the hips and push up and in towards the middle of your spine.
@misskristin thanks for the suggestion, that sounds so wonderful right now...maybe I can talk my husband into doing it since I just lost my job. Btw my name is Kristin!
