Going to L&D... Need Help!!!

I started having contractions yesterday morning at 5, consistently til 10. Called L&d and they told me that it may be labor early stages or false labor and to stay at home until either my water broke or they were unbearable. They stopped... Damn, damn, damn! I drank tea, bounced on ball, walked, got my toes and eyebrows hit, twisted my hair and im ready to go! Im due today and im ready to meet my daughter. So, no activity last night and I start to get scared, maybe she was tired from everything earlier... So at 5 today, movement, mild tightening, but I want to go in, I want to be admitted... Doc said on tuesday, my cervix was softened and I was 1/2 centimeter dilated, im sure im probably dilated a bit more, not by much... oh and ive been constipated and have hemerroids pretty bad. What can I tell l&d to have them admit me?

Not much. If ur not dilated they usually dont admit. :-( start walking ur tushy off!

I'm in the same boat! I'm DD is today and I'm so upset that there has not been a single sign of progression! I've been 1cm dilated for 4 freaking weeks... Nothing has helped.

Why do u want to be admitted so bad? R u uncomfortable at home?

Good luck today, if ur not dilated up to 4cm at least l&d will not keep u. N if u tell them baby is not moving they will give u a nst n monitor u n baby for 20 min n if baby pass the test they send u home unless ur high risk.

Thanks ladies... @nicoleok87... Im ready for her to come. I got super bad hemerroids, cant poop and im extremey uncomfortable. Shes due today and needs to come today... shes at 0 station and I can now feel hear heartbeat in my butt... Shes super low and ive had it... L&D told me to stay home until I was in active labor and I dont see that coming... My doc said she didnt expect me to go past yesterday, but here I am, still prego and only here and there contractions... I need labor prayers...

Good luck! There are also some labor cookie you may want to try? I can post the link if so? Its supposed to help break your water.

I'm doing good. I had my lil man on 8/23 at 155pm during the middle of the east coast earthquake! It was crazy but super easy for me actually he will be a month old on Tuesday and he's growing up sooo fast! I'm surprised u haven't had ur lil girl yet. That's why I thought u haven't been in was cuz u were busy taking care of ur newest edition. Labor dust ur way hun I'm sure ur tired by now. If u do a labor/delivery story u gotta tag me in it. Ur one of the only ppl I keep up with on here cuz I know in our early pregnancies we were going thru some of the same things
