losing plug after cervix check

Did anyone start losing their mucous plug after a cervix check? I'm 37+4 immediately after my doc checked me today I went to wipe the lubricating goo off and saw some nasty brown stuff on the tissue. Every time I've wiped after the bathroom since then there's been brownish mucousy looking discharge.

    I was told after being checked its normal to have a little brown discharge.

    Yup, I got checked on Monday and all day yesterday I was losing mu plug.

    I got checked last week at 35 weeks and I lost a good portion of mine shortly after. but not as much after this last cervical check on Tuesday @36 weeks.

    Im 40+ and got my membranes sweeped yesterday and started losing my plug since yesterday, some last night and more today with increased cramping. I hope its labor.
