Best car seat for under $100? I don't like the plastic buckle parts the lock in.

    I know the brand Safety 1st is a great brand. It is what the Tennessee Highway Patrol recommends. You can order it off of Walmart.com. Thats what I did.

    1stwoodsbaby does it have metal that goes into the buckle? I know the infant carriers I saw when I was prego had plastic. I normally buy evenflo and graco

    The part that goes across the chest is plastic.. the part that buckles between the legs is metal.

    @1stwoodsbaby oh okay good:) well if your highway patrol recommends it then maybe I will get one. I tried looking it up for Oregon but my phone wouldn't let me

    do yuu have plastic buckles on carseats in America? In Australia all of the carseats have metal ones :/
