2 Questions in 1 post.... Anyone else???

edited November 2011 in Pregnant
I woke up this morning in lots of pain in my hips and entire pelvis area. My stomach has seemed to drop a lil as well. I'm feeling pressure there and my vagina feels sort of sore. Has anyone else started feeling this or did feel this close to edd? I'm 36+2 weeks.

Also, I've been noticing that I can see my baby make a breathing movement in my stomach. It literally looks like I can see him breathing and once he moves I no longer see it or feel it. I've never heard of any1 else saying this, and could this be possible??

  • Question 1 thats totally normal sounds like baby has started to drop and that will cause pressure and pain unfortunately
Question 2 I dont really know, they do practice breathing and swallowing at this late stage, but I never experienced anything like that with either pregnancy
  • Answer to your 2nd question. I made this same post a while back. Yes that is your bby practicing his breathing.
  • @tinka1326 thx, do u know if i could be in this kinda pain for the next 4 wks or should labor be somewhere near?
@Mimii36 o thx i had never heard that.
  • 1:Yes, I felt it since 29 weeks so its possible.

2:Yes, the baby is practicing breathing, I used to feel it and see it too.
  • Question 1: yep once baby starts dropping you will get those kinds of pain and gets worse so prepare yourself. I started with them around 32 weeks and now my vaginal area gets stabbing like pain that doesn't let me move at all and once its over I always have to pee. They usually last around 3 or four minutes now and in the beginning it was less. And also its bad turning in bed but were almost there.
  • there really is no 'sign' that labour is near because baby will take as long as it likes to come into the world. The pain may stay at this level is get worse, mine never got really bad but neither of my babies dropped till a week or two before birth
  • Sorry I can't help with the first question because that didn't happen with my first two labors

I think I know what u mean about the the breathing movement. I see it too I even caught it on video and I was thinking it looks like the baby was breathing in there...but I have no idea what's really going on lol
