what formula do I use??

my baby had her 2 week check up today and she weighed the same that she did at her last appointment, her pediatrician said I should start topping off her breastfeedings twice a day with formula. I haven't even looked into formula at all since I am breastfeeding and am not sure which formula I should use???

I would try for sensitive tummies or something. But I'm not sure.

I use infamil newborn, its what my pediatrician recommends it has extra vitamin d which breastmilk does not contain. She told me that is what she gives her son so I felt better about giving it to my baby! Plus if you sign up on their website they overload you with coupons!!!

you really dont have to use formula if you dont want too, breastfed babies weigh differently than formula fed babies, your doc could be using a formula growth chart in which most US docs use.
as an LC myself, YES breastmilk does contain Vit. D, but you can put baby in some indirect sunlight for more of it.
if you feel like you should be using formula, try starting with something thats gentle like gerber good start

the vid d supplements are made by formula companies by the way. its a booby trap for sales and to undermine breastfeeding moms
