castor oil

I took 2 table spoons of castor oil mixed with a small glass of OJ at about 4pm, didn't think it tasted to bad and I've had nothing happen yet and it'd now 5.35pm.
How long does it usually take for it to kick in? Or have I not taken enough

I took a tbls an hour for 2days my water broke at 1am wen I got to l&d @2 I was @ 6cm! Good luck I was also 4days pd!
