bleeding finger

I was clipping my daughters fingernail when she jerked and I got her skin. She started bleeding and so I put a bandied on it. I she then ate took a nap..now three hours later she woke up, the bandied fell off and the finger is still bleeding ....I've got a new one on but that doesn't seem right.

hopefully its not too much blood. if she will let you, hold her hand above her head for awhile while putting pressure on the finger. you can put something cold on it if she doesnt freak out either to help it clot
