Implanon - Birth Control

I got the implant two days before thanksgiving. It said it would quicker if I got it done in the beginning days of my period, which I did. The problem is.... that I was bleeding heavily and bright red up until a few days ago and still have it today but brownish. Im worried because I usually only get my period 3-4 days and now its been over 2 weeks. Is it normal?? Has it happened to anyone?

I've read that ppl have extended periods with implanon I've read of cases where it lasted for months as a complication

Anytime you start any kind of new bc..its always a possibility that extended periods will occur. Your body is getting use to the bc.

mine!! was sooo heavy!! && long!!! but haven't had 1 since. ij.think only the first is like that!
