tattoo and stretch marks question

I wanna get a hip or lower back tattoo but I have stretch marks from pregnancy. So how would this effect things? Will it take the ink?

    The stretch marks will still be visible n it can confuse the picture depending on what your stretch marks look like n what you get n I think its harder to tattoo over them as far as getting the ink in I have one n I had a few stretch marks but they did a good job so go for it lol it hurts though

    I need to get one of my tattoos redone, it is on my ribs and part of it got distorted by my strectch marks :-( ...hoping they can fix it.

    My tattoo artist told me they would take the ink. After baby im getting mine touched up!
