When can the baby hold its head up?

Well I was wondering when can a baby hold irs head up by themself ?

It depends on the baby, but usually 2-4 months, whenever she starts lifting her head and moving it purposefully on her own. But it's always better to be safe, so I usually keep being extra careful until they sit by themselves.
