Breastfeeding and going back to work

My Lo will be five or possibly six months when I go back to work..he takes very well to the breast and bottle..we go back and forth and he also uses a pacifier. How do you mothers keep up with breastfeeding
And pumping while working ?

I give her the breast when I'm with her & only a bottle when I'm not, I've given her a bottle to see if she would take one from me as a trial run before leaving her with my step mom. I come home half way through my work day to pump to keep my supply up. I am only working 4 8hr days.

Most laws require ur work to provide a quiet private area other than a bathroom that's free of intrusion by coworkers and they have to let u take pump breaks whenever u feel the need to pump and for however long it may take. I bf as soon as I get home from work and for the rest of the night whenever my lil man wants.

I pump once during a 6 hour shift and will increase to twice when I go to eight hour days. So far that seems to be working.

I had to do the same when I went back to work with my last baby. I promise it woll all fall into place. Check out Kellymom.com....it has great info on pumping and going back to work. It helped me a lot!!
