Abnormal Pap!! im freaking out!! :(

Ok so first off im 8 weeks pregnant and i got a pap last month on the 21st and my Dr just called and said STD was neg and HPV was neg.. but still an abnormal pap so i have to follow up with another doctor but im so scared and i don't know what this means could there be something wrong with the baby??! :(

    An abnormal pap doesn't mean anything to do with the baby. It has to do with your cervix, which is where the found the abnormal cells. However, it is common to have an abnormal pap during pregnancy, so don't stress it too much. They will most likely repeat a pap after you've delivered.

    I had an abnormal pap , an when I had my daughter it went away. Dnt stress it.

    I had an abnormal 9 yrs ago. The froze my cervix and took a piece of the abnormal. I have been fine since.

    ok. thank you. :) i have 2 children but never had an abnormal pap so i was just kinda freaking out. thank you again ladies. :)

    I wouldn't say it's normal during pregnancy to have an abnormal pap but I had one like 7 years ago nothing happened every year after I got normal ones
