rash???

Ok so about 2-3 days ago my sons face got a rash. I havent changed anything or done anything different. Its only on his face, its swollen and he says it itches. I been putting exema cream on bc I thought it was from the wind like it was chapped but its little bumps. Ill post pics

He's been running a slight fever like 99.8 to 100.3

Looks like a heat rash? Or maybe drools while sleeping? I would call his pedi & at least ask, tell them you have pics you can email or text?

@caroline8_p I was going to take him in tomorrow. I thought it was a heat rash but its been there for days. I've done tylenol and benedryl

That's exactly what my face does when i clean my face with huggies baby wipes! But you haven't done anything diff so i don't know, hope he gets better tho x

Is there a tractor supply near you??? If there is they have this cream called corona and it works really well. For rashes,burns bites.

My dads gf told me about it. She said her grandaughter got a diaper rash really bad. It was cleared up by the next day. Its for animals I've used on burns before. if my son gets a bad rash that's the first thing I'm using.

@armahnismommy it says it lasts 3-4 days but should clear up before if not go to the doctor. And if a fever follows go to the doc so ill probably take him in tomorrow

The rash is red bumpy and like scalely like peeling ... kinda like after a sunburn

I've used eczema lotion regular lotion and now neosporian. I apply like every 2 hours. @bahamamama4828

Have you tried benedryl cream? It will definately take down the itch.

For sure take him in since he has had a fever. Some kids get fevers from strep throat even. Good luck. Poor little guy. I hope he feels better soon. Hes a cutie!

You can get benedryl cream in the first aid section at walmart.
