I quit in may. It gets easier everyday. My urges were gone after two weeks. I smoked for 8yrs. There is an app I used to motivate me. Good luck!! Its all worth it in the end. (Btw day two I was laying on the couch crying and shaking)
Congrats! Seems crazy but used to look open that app a hundred times a day. The money savings is def. a motivation. It was $10 a pack in ny. And my fiance said we could ttc until I quit
@armahnismommy you could try an e-cig in addition to the app. I used one with the non nicotine "flavor" on the first day I quit but couldn't figure out how to charge it for the second day. But anyways it made me feel like I was going through the motions but still allowing myself to withdraw from the nicotine. Not good to use for more than a month
I've been quit for almost a year now. I started smoking in the 10th grade. I had no problem quiting due to the fact while I was pregnant it made me sick so I only smoked for the first month then it was a wrap. Now I've been struggling on quiting smoking pot for awhile now. I
Good job! not everyone quits smoking when they get pregnant! I have never been a smoker so I cant speak for everyone. But my coworker gradually quit after she found out she was preg. She found out around 7w.... Now she is like 30w and can't wait to start up again. I just think if you already quit you saved all that money wouldn't you want to try to stay off!! I dunno I would think she'd want to atleast try!
i stopped eleven days ago after having smoked 20 a day for the past 11 years. i think im on attempt number four or five this time. i had a lung function test done 2 days after quitting and my lung age came back at 38 years. im 27! knowing that is helping me stay strong. good luck hon, it does get a little easier each day, if u can get past day 3 thats when i noticed it eased up a little. x
