  • Im a sleep deprived mommy too lol. I have a 2 yr old and a 3 week old. Ive forgotten what sleep is!
  • I wish I could help. I'm sleep deprived as well. 3 month old, 2 yr old, 9 yr old
  • @luvmyson @Bahamamama4828 sleep deprived mommy club! Lol you can call it the mommy zombie club
  • At 7 months your lo should not need that night feeding. How early do you put him to sleep? If he is waking up sooner than 7 hours, I suggest not feeding him or playing with him. Just check and reassure him every 5 or 10 minutes. It should only take 2-4 nights to get him sleeping thru the night.
  • Maybe keep lights off, no talkin just Business only feed and rock aback to sleep with little interacting maybe they will get bored and choose sleep :-) i am a ftm though so you will know better than me!
  • I'm OK with the night feedings. My 2 yr old night nursed til he weaned at 18 months. He wasn't a big eater but now he is lol
@mollysmama watch out for the mommy zombie apocalypse lol
  • You could always try offering water instead. Usually they dont want it and stop bothering to wake up because they know they arent getting a feed
  • he goes to bed around 9 everynight...sometimes he only wakes up around 2 or 3 am but like last night was up every hour....and i dont understand it....@mollysmomma u r halarious i was just talking to a mommy friend and we agreed to start an insamniac club for mommies lol @ Granny2b i wish it was that easy ....if hes hungry im gonna feed him and if hes awake im awake ...i have a small aprtment so i have to keep him quiet or the whole family gets woken up.....my doc suggested giving him more protein at night and ive done that.....at this point im giving up on sleep....coffee is my new best friend
  • Omg same thing here.... My lo slept through the night from day til about a month ago, which she was about 4 months, then she started waking up @ 12-1am & 4-5am to eat.... Well the last 2 nights she has waken every hour to eat.... I go to bed around midnight usually.... She starts it as soon as we go to bed... Nothing in our routine has changed.... Luckily my 7 yr old can pretty much dress himself, I just have to set him up
  • @Bahamamama4828 exactly!! It could happen @luvmyson i think that club would be a hit!
  • In my case our daughter was eight months and hubby and I were SO exhausted with getting up every night. Also, our daughter was tired a lot of the time. I put her on a fairly regular schedule during the day, then just checked on her and comforted her when she woke in the night to eat. It took two hard nights and that was it. She then slept thru the night every night. And she was happier and well rested during the day. I followed instructions from a book written by a doctor who specialized in baby/children sleep problems. I know this is not for everyone. With our daughter, it was just a habit and it was not only exhausting us, it was also much better for her.
