My son is 5wks old & is having hard bowl movements. What can I do to help him? He is in so much pain

That happened to my daughter and the doctor suggested to put a teaspoon of karo dark syrup in formula once a day and it worked great.

@mom2ing he was getting both boob & formula but has just recently been switched to just formula.

Massage his tummy and when he's pooping tuck his knees up to his upper belly. It doesn't make poo softer but makes it easier and quicker to pass. Poor baby

my son was like that BADDDD he had to be put on alimentium (the purple simulac can) because he had bad allergies
