I have a horrible sore throat hurts to talk and swallow I'm not sure what I can take I breast feed my baby I need to take something till I can see Dr please help my done baptism is tomorrow I want to feel some what better

Honey is good for a sore throat. Or lozenges but not mint, too much can lower supply

@bahamamama4828 I'm not sure if its a cold or allergies it been three days and weather has been crazy. Garlic doesn't sound yummy buy willing to try. Do I just eat it in food

It is awful and best raw cut up with honey but you can cook it, its effectiveness won't be the same. Make sure you eat foods high in vit c just in case or a children's vit c no more than 200mg

@Bahamamama4828 oh okay.. that's just something my grandma told me. sometimes you have to take her advice with a grain of salt, lol. once she told me not to wash my hair while I was on my period because it would stop my flow and kill me!
