The Police WERE there, they know the law. IN the case of a SHOOTING, resulting in death... they HAD to check with a states attny. to verify the evidence with the law.
They have NOT CHARGED him for a REASON.
In this country, we are presumed innocent until PROVEN GUILTY.
@armahnismommy, I'm not saying that I know. I am only stating that ladies are providing "facts" that have very contradicting "facts". Also, if you truly think that members of a high profile case or surrounding don't get leaked information that is spoken about with family members...you are sorrily mistaken! But I forgot, we live in a perfect world where things like that could NEVER happen! )
Here are the FACTS in this case:
*Trayvon Martin was 6'2" with a history of behavioral issues and drugs. *The screams in the 911 tape are those of Zimmerman. *Martin's father states that the screams are not his sons. *Zimmerman's wounds corroborate that of self defense (at this moment). *More witnesses corroborate Zimmerman's side than that of Trayvon's. *The PD screwed up the investigation and they have called in outside resources to investigate *The case IS under investigation.
My question is: If Zimmerman was a bigot and just wanted to kill this boy...why call the police? It doesn't make sense to me.
And for your info I have a degree in criminal justice and am planning to become a crime scene investigator. Thank you.

@armahnismommy, you can't. Lol. We go through this in every debate. I state facts, you lose your footing and then finish with simple emoticons. Seriously, my current even posts are made for those who like to have a conversation. An intelligent one- with proper grammar and real words. If you don't want to contribute in an adult-like manner, please feel free to see the door.

@kendylsmommy, THANK YOU for the comment. I think what you are saying is quite possible regarding to why he called the cops. Maybe he isn't right in the head. I am very interested to see how it plays out in court and all of the facts of the case.
@lafiitz89, I am very open minded. Hence the reason for starting the discussion and prying into the minds of everyone. What I will argue with are statements such as "screams were trayvon" when there is mountains of contradicting evidence. I have stated ovvverr and ovvverr again that we don't know all the facts. That most of the ones I have presented are pure speculation just as everyone elses. I tend to err on the side that has more evidence.

Did the shooter have other options? Probably
