Update Baby Isai. His funeral is going to be on Friday.

.My Friend's baby boy is dead. She doesn't have money . I want to help her but WHAT CAN I DO. Please tell me what can I do. where can we go to ask any help???. The baby still is in the hospital but they are disconnecting him tomorrow morning. I just can believe this happenning now. He is only 6 months like my baby boy.. Was a Sudden Infant Death the cause of death.
Whats the next thing after they disconnect the baby???

    Oh wow...I'm sorry to hear that...I know the city can pay but they wont (what I heard) let family attend the funeral...not sure just what I heard

    She doesn't have money for the funeral thats why I'm trying to get help for her.
    she is devastated right now so she doesn't know what to do. All what she says is she wants to die too.

    I know but there's a thing callled a direct cremation that the city will do and either give the ashes to the family in a box and they keep them or whatever. But there are no funeral services held unless they pay for it

    But I would start calling church's or looking on the Internet for services for people who cant afford a funeral

    I know in some instances a baby funeral can cost little to nothing at all..so call the funeral home for that..also hospitals can help you get in touch with sources...I wish I could be more help though for you. I'm trying to look it up on the Internet as well but I'm not finding much :(

    Def call churches! They will be able to tell you what to do. salvation army is good if you have one

    Does she have any family memebers that can help her with money? I'm sure the funeral costs for a baby is not that expensive..

    I went to mortuary school and my husband is a funeral director I know his funeral home does not charge for child services and we have not heard of one that does at least around by us. Call the the funeral homes in your area and tell them the situation. The only thing is the burial plot but the funeral home would most likely cremate for free. This is so terribly sad im so sorry for your friend. Praying for them.

    Maybe raise a fund at work? A potluck or something. We had that at my work.

    I did't say the funeral it was expesive. BECAUSE We don't know anything. ITS THE FIRST TIME so we don't know anything about the costs of a funeral.

    After they disconnect baby she would call a funreral home and they would go to the hospital and pick the baby up. The funeral home will sit down with her and discuss the arrangements that need to be made.

    I don't know details, but Cheryl told me that when she had to bury her precious baby the cost was around a grand I believe. Maybe she can help you, her loss was less than a year ago so I know it's still very hard for to talk about but maybe she can give you helpful info. @babynewyear2012 very very sorry and sad for your friend :'( my son is 5 months and this breaks my heart! <3

    Get a pic of baby with info make copies get like bukets and leave them n local stores so people well make donations do it tomorrow get things going already u could stand n front of Kmart or Walmart ask for donations do a car wash
