Do any of you ladies know which cough medicines are safe? Im in my third trimester...dont know if that matters

I used tylenol cold and flu. And dayquil, even though they said not to. I was miserable. You can also use cough drops.

I use elderberry syrup. Best stuff ever! Clears it in a day or so for me.
