We did it once when the baby was 6 weeks old, but we haven't had sex at all since then, until two weeks ago @skysma ... We did it once with a condom, then once without because I was expecting AF in 10 days. I figured we were in the safety window. Stupid super-fertile body. You and @mamakat have babies about 17 months apart? Was it hard? Did you ever get out of the house with them both? I always thought I'd have them at least 3 years apart, and I'm kinda stressing out...
@Bahamamama4828 Maybe!! I'm a little worried because the c-section was less than a year ago, and I have still been feeling some numbness and "hardness" in my lower belly. :-( But there's a group of VBAC friendly midwives with a very high success rate not too far away, and a nearby hospital that is now practicing immediate skin-to-skin with the mother immediately following c-section. Worse case scenario, at least I can look forward to a little more bonding with my baby if it comes to that again. I HATED having my baby taken away from me during my surgery. When he was gone, that's when my body started to crash.
Yeah, @ArmahnisMommy and @DavidnAadynsMama the real kicker is, I was 25 days into my new post-baby 35 day cycle. For 20 years I had a perfect 28 day cycle and we just abstained during a few days mid-cycle. HOW was there still an egg hanging around??
You're killing me, @Mama_Kat - I forgot about the diaper bag!! I currently travel very light with a very low-maintenance baby. Could I be so lucky again? I do want to teach little man to be independent, but thought he'd have a little more exclusivity as my "baby" for a bit longer.
I guess it could be good - they can be playmates, they'll be close to the same learning stage when I start homeschooling, they'll be one for each grandparent when they come to visit, and my firstborn will be less likely to be "spoiled", right?
@acw104 I remember seeing you're expecting again too! Congrats. :-) Did you plan it that way?
Mine was like that 3 days after missed af but with the same urine I took a early result one and the line was soooo dark! Go out and get a better one that reads lower levels.
