My 9 month old gets so distracted she only nurses for about 5 mins at a time and sometimes refuses to nurse. she went from nursing 5-6 times a day for about 10 mins to 3 maybe 4 times for 5 mins. she is eating a bit of solids but not much
She is so active now though crawling and pulling up and I heard they sometimes forget feedings for a while cuz they're so busy. idk if that's true though just something I heard
mmhmm maybe nursing strike. It can be rare for a baby that young to wean so early. Early weaning might mean starting solids too soon or too much every day. Some babies tend to nurse less when they hit or about to hit milestones. Just keep offering
My son does something similar but he doesn't eat at night like that... Prolly just distracted during the day and doesn't want to waste time on nursing so she makes up for it at night. Babies do that
