My lo was born last Oct and had shoulder dytosia (sp) my consultant says I should have a c section as I have a higher risk this time around. I have had 3 natural births and don't relish the idea of being cut open. Especially as I'm gonna have 2 lo's under 1. What would you do? X

You're not being selfish! You know what you want.
Were you on your back giving birth? Sometimes squatting during labor opens you up and helping baby not get 'stuck'.

What is shoulder dytosia? All in all it don't sound good. I'd do the c section to me that is kind of selfish if vaginal birth caused your lo to have it. Jmo though.

I had shoulder distosia with 3 of mine & they never asked me to do a c section. I would say no.

I Google it.. I thought it was something that hurts the baby and can be long term. So I don't think it's selfish just do what hba said.
