Wow im 29wks 3days and i was in the er for contractions two days ago. The ekg ahowed them but since I wasnt dilating they sent me home im at a two already. =/ I have my appt with the vbac specialist on Friday and I am scared he is going to say that i am no longer a good candidate bc of this incident. Im just hoping to at least make it past 35wks. Via c section or with the vbac i desperately desire as long as our son is healthy i will be happy and grateful.

    You can have a VBAC with preterm labor :)

    @captivated really? I think id be scared of the risks with the baby not being full term and all

    How come? Preterm birth is what puts the baby in any risk. Whether it's a c-section or vaginal, it won't increase or decrease these any.

    Vaginal is recommended for preterm babies though. It lessens respiratory issues among other things

    I also started having contraction @30 weeks but I also did things to help my contraction staying active Is what help me and help thin out my cervix ..i took my kids to the park I walk a lot I live on the 3rd floor I went up and down the stairs ..my dr was very supportive about my VBAC after 2 csection..try not to overwhelm yourself good luck

    Preemies come out so fast, it would be silly to have a repeat c. My son was out in 3 contractions and that was not knowing how to push since he was my first baby. 3lbs slides right on out. Lol I'm having issues with ptl too. Let's keep our legs crossed together. Lol

    @mamfn3 yeah i live in the second floor and i have to carry the laundry baskets down along with my 33lb toddler =/ im taking it east now but its super hard when my hubby works 12_15hr shifts and comes home and rests =/

    Yeah. I don't want another preemie, but I don't know how close to term I'm going to get. I'm contracting so much on a daily basis that it worries me. I would absolutely not want a c-sec for a preemie though, unless it was medically necessary. I hope you get the birth you want. :)

    Understandable I just hope you don't have to wait 42 weeks like me 8-|
