need info on 3 hour glucose test

Im behind on my testing due to a family emergency. Found out this week I failed my 1 hour test. Bummer.....cut off is 140 and I had a 146. Im supposed to take my 3 hr test in the am. Im nervous about this one. Is it different from the 1 hr as far as the glucose itself, my doc didnt tell me how long to fast for and if I can hv water. My test is at 7am. So I used my head and havent had any food or drink since 7pm. Any advice or info would be great. I passed my 1hour with my first baby. So im pretty bummed but I know every pregnancy is different.

Be prepared to get super sick! If you can request it, some places do the jelly bean test or you monitor your own sugar at home and bring it to doc.

I did a three hour with my first this time I did a 2 hr. I had to fast 8-10 hours prior, nothing to eat or drink.

thanks ladies . I just finished thank goodness. I had the red flavor but oh my it was sugary. Finally done and hoping it comes back normal. Will find out Wednesday
