@akmommy theres really nothing that you can do that wouldnt be considered dieting...i just dont eat when im not hungry and when i am i make sure it is the most health wise choice... but i am 5'3" and started off at 179 and am now 173(my doctor is mad) at 23 weeks... everyones body stores the food different and because you were petite when you started your body may be trying to keep more stores for baby... if you are really concerned you can always ask your doctor for recommendations on health wise alternatives
@paganmom i dont have a definate answer on this but am going to breast feed and i plan to use playtex for the drop in aspect and the ventaire tops..
@mrswright08 tylenol is fine but we all know that theres not much tylenol can do about a cold... heres some tips: * Get extra rest * Drink plenty of clear fluids; this is even more important when you are pregnant * Try saline nasal sprays or steam inhalation for congestion * Eat a well-balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables * Drinking hot water with honey and lemon may help soothe a sore or irritated throat * Notify your healthcare provider if your symptoms seem especially severe or last for more than a week; you may have developed a secondary infection * Vics vapor rub for nasal congestion hope this helps
@jalem makes perfect sense, I've never dieted so that def wasn't something I was willing to do, just a little nervous I guess to gain so much. My doctor told me to stop eating sugar or carbs which is INSANE. I'm not starving myself by getting ride of some of the food I eat. My brother was a diabetic and I know how to eat healthy so I was hoping I would be better than this at this gain weight thing ehhhh it's all worth it thanks for responding!
@akmommy no prob... i pretty much cut out 90% of my carbs... just because they dont make me full anymore... but i can eat an apple and be stuffed!!! no joke... good luck... but dont worry if you gain too much its all for the good of the baby!!! hey arent you my dd buddy???
@akmommy yeah i am!!! i cant wait to meet my little girl!!! but i am so loving this pregnancy everything is perfect.. (minor sarcasm there!!) lolz but i dont mind it too much...
