ALL BABIES ARE BLESSINGS...VENT

Ok I NEVER get on here to vent but I have to before I end hurting someone.
My husbands cousin is also pregnant. Throughout this whole pregnancy she's thought she was going to have a boy because she wanted one so bad. Well today she found out she was having a girl. She got mad and started cursing the ultrasound tech and everything. Now she just keeps saying well atleast i can collect child support. She doesn't even want the baby now because it's a girl. It really made me sick. All I can think about is all the people out there who want kids but can't have them. I just don't understand how you don't love or want your child just because of gender. Sorry it's so long.

    This is my first child and I didn't care what I was having as long as the baby was healthy! I'm having a little boy:) I hope her child never finds out that she reacted like that when she found out. It would break her heart:( breaks my heart.

    oh WOW. i hope she changes that attitude soon.. i mean ive heard of people getting upset about not having what they want but never that bad. tell her my sister will gladly take her little girl since she isnt happy.

    My cousin-in-law just recently found out she was having a boy ..Cried, threw a fit like a big axx kid, &nd called her tech a liar repeatedly cause she wanted a girl so bad. &nd now she doesn't want the baby ..She begged her sister who stays in another state to adopt her child when she has it. Very selfish &nd retarded if you ask me. You can't pick what sex you want your baby to be ..You get what God gives you; Appreciate, & love him or her ..Ugh!,

    @08lilmomma11 Mine too. I cried when they told me she acted that way. My husband was pissed.
    @Ittybitty I know I told my mil that a girl i use to work with has been trying to have a baby for 10 yrs. that I was sure she'd gladly take her.

    That is ridiculous. I was going to be happy with whatever I got. When you get pregnant, you have a 50/50 chance and there are no guarantees. Just be happy with a healthy baby.

    @cdswim I told my husband I didn't need to be around her for a while. I even had a whole box of stuff for her that's going to be off season for our little girl and I don't even want to go give it to her.

    I have to admit i was devastated when they told me it was a boy, i cryed and didnt want to belive it. Took me a week to comes to turms with a boy and now i cant wait to have my lil man, i can understand the upset but to outright not want her thats crazy

    All I can say is wow! That is horrible! I wanted a boy too but I was so stinkin excited when I found out it was a girl! I hope that little angel girl gets a good life every baby deserves that they r our future n should be the loves of our lives I know my daughter is already n she isn't even here yet :)

    I hope that baby is cared for even if her mother isn't thrilled anymore. I don't care if my child comes out yellow, pink, orange, or looking like a little alien.. I'm gonna love her either way!!!

    i was the same, i wanted a girl so bad but as soon as i found out i am having a boy i was just excited to know he is healthy! now i can't wait for my little man to get here!

    I have two friends who were convinced they were having girls, only to be super upset when they found out it was boys. They were fine by the time the babies arrived though, so hopefully she'll calm down in a bit.

    Wow that is terrible. My stepsons mom has always just used him as a pawn even going as far to say "well you can have him if you give me money." As if to sale her child to his own father. Some parents just are not worthy of the title.

    That is horrible!!! All babies are blessings, no matter what gender! And no gender is better than the other! I have one girl and one on the way, I wouldn't have it any other way! But if I was having a boy right now I would be just as excited!! Babies are BLESSINGS!! No matter what gender.

    I don't even know where to begin on this subject... makes me so mad.I just thank God for moms that love their babies and want them to onl b healthy without caring about boy or girl!!!! :X

    @jay_brad I knew she wanted a boy but I thought surely she knows you can't choose. I was sick after her acting that way.
