  • p.s.--A friend of mine is pregnant now. She has the Paraguard IUD...yes, its still inside her; a piece is embedded in her uterus. She has to have it removed after she gives birth. Yikes!
  • Im just going back to using condoms. Ill be strictly breastfeeding and they worked for me before with no problems
  • I'm on the pill. Iuds scare me. But the only pill that worked for me was Yaz. Now I'm on a generic version of it...
  • I was on ortho tricyclen, made me throw up daily, then tried ortho tricyclen lo (lower dosage) still made me throw up daily. I got the patch and it worked pretty good but can't use while breast feeding :( so idk.
  • @Bentleysmommy I was also on ortho tricyclen. Hated it! Gave me headaches and I got soo fat. I stopped taking it and that's when I became pregnant. Hmmm maybe try a mini pill? But those you really have to keep up with. Everyday, at the same time. Or an IUD like mirena.
  • I'm breastfeeding. And I'm not currently planning on having sex ever again. But if I ever do, hubby will be wearing a condom.
  • @fate no sex ever again :o
  • I got implanonin so far ive had 2week period, a rash n abdominal pain but im sticking it out for 6 months ive had it 1 if it doesnt improve I may have a 4th baby lol also breastfeeding I was told cant use nuva ring whilst feeding
  • I was on mini pill micronor afterbaby 1 think it was the cause of my 3 month period
  • My husbands getting fixed lol
  • My husbands getting fixed lol
  • I have Seasonique pills. Each refill is a 3 month supply so only 4 visits to the pharmacy a year and only 4 periods a year. I've tried Nuva Ring and the patch in the past and I hated it. The Nuva Ring was inserted by my doctor and it never stayed in and the patch cause me to have an allergic reaction.
  • My hubby got snipped last month :-D No more for us. This one will be number 6.
  • My husband and I are doing natural family planning. It's 99% effective if done right and no pills, iuds, rings....
  • I took the mini pill after both of mine and I BF with no problems. I had plenty of milk so that's what I plan on doing this time too

  • Me and my husband are probably just gonna use the pull out method. I don't take well to birth control and once you stop using condoms its impossible to go back! :)
  • @Beautiful_Altar Is that where you use the rhythm method and check your cervical mucus for signs of ovulation? I want to go as natural as possible, so feel free to pass me some advice or websites! :)
  • @usawife_21 the pull out method is a joke lol if you use that you will get pregnant again! Lol
  • I got pregnant on the nuva ring and on seasonique. I think I'm just gonna get my tubes tied.
  • @snreda You just made me want to change my birth control...Lol I'm taking Seasonique. I got pregnant off of Nuva ring also.
  • @mya218 its called na pro technology. My husband and I are taking classes to learn it.
  • My husband had the big "V" in April . Before I even had my baby lol
  • Does the Depo interfere with BF?
What's some of the side-effects of Implanon? (the one that goes in your arm and is good for 3 years, right?)
I want something that I don't have to take every day, and preferably will last 3+ months at a time, but nothing like Nuva Ring, etc. Any suggestions?
  • I loved mirena .hubby didnt. Im getting essure cuz im done!
  • @ususawife_21 The pull out method is how Bentley is here today :) wouldn't recommend it! Haha.
I'm considering the paragard but I'm just scared about the risks :/
  • Does anyone know if Medicaid covers the cost for implanon?
  • @kalasthename no idea :/ I'm sorry. Which state though, I think medicaids coverage is different from state to state.
