Congrats! I'll keep praying for Zavion that he gets stronger and better everyday. I'm so glad he's breathing on his own! That's excellent news. Do you have any idea of why he jumped the gun? Impatient little boy lol! Keep us posted on his progress. All of your November mommies are pulling for you guys. He just wanted to be leader of the pack ;-) !
Thank you so much ladies! He's doing well still. He gained a little bit of weight and he's drinking 1 ml of breast milk every 3 hrs now. On Monday they're gonna take him outta the humidifier and put him in a regular bed in the nicu. I'm so excited for that because he's making progress. @tishj330 I started to get a uti and that caused my placenta to rupture and my water to break. So when all that happened supposedly in a day (according to the dr's) I started to dialate as well. By the time they decided to check me, even though I was already telling them about my contractions (that their machines weren't picking up) I was already too far in labor to stop him from coming.
@alwayzbeenurz2008: he's doing alright, he's just healing up from a surgery that he had done to close a hole in his intestine and preparing for another surgery tomorrow. This time its for an open valve by his heart that needs to be clamped closed before it causes problems. Other than that he seems to be tolerating everything very well. My lil man is proving to be a fighter everyday.

Thank you everyone. & he's doing well.. he had 2 surgeries last so far; one on his intestine & one on a valve that didn't close after he was born. He was on a breathing machine but he's off of it now and just has nasal plugs in to help him while he breathes. But everything else is good. he's back on his feeds every 3 hours and he weighs about 1 lb 12 ounces.
@15Nov_Babe oh how I remember those days I spent hours and hours everyday doing kangaroo care with my son. It's rough but preemies are sooo resilient, I know mine was and he is 22 months today and still gives me hell lol. I am glad he continues to progress!
