How long did it take to get your baby's birth certificate & social security card after baby was born?

    Social security came in about 2 weeks and her b.c. was available to be picked up after a week (they don't mail it)

    Yeah 2 wks or so so Ssn it was about 1 month before I got the birth.certificate

    1 wk for birth certificate and i think it took a month for their ss card

    ss don't remember but with the bc I didn't get it until he was like two. we had to request it on our own and I didn't see a reason to get it until I needed it

    My bby is 2 weeks old and I just got SS card in the mail! I was told that once I got her card her BC would be available at the hall of records!

    Thanks everyone! My son will be 3 weeks on Friday & still haven't gotten anything yet. Then again I am in one of the most jacked up cities in the united states. Detroit that is.
