@usmcwifemommy101107 oh it definitely gets and stays warm, thats been the only problem I've had with it. Now that its cooling down it will be a good thing but during july/august my poor daughter would sweat her little butt off.
I got the Chicco keyfit 30 because it has really high reviews and is very safe and light weight and installing it is extremely easy... I went to a car seat safety class and this was the most highly recommended by far by the instructor.
I got the Chicco keyfit 30 as well. An employee at Babies R Us was showing us all of the travel seats and we liked this one the best. It is very user friendly - opening & closing the stroller one handed. The stroller (when folded) was lighter than the Graco systems we were looking at, which is important for me. There were just so many functions we really liked about it plus it had good reviews. The determinig factor for me though was when the employee picked the car seat up by the handle, while it was locked into the stroller, and shook it. Chicco car seats lock in the middle of the stroller (vs. the front by the tray), which makes it a lot safer. He said you will not find another travel system that does that (at least in the store). Graco locks in the front & middle, but the middle uses straps that stretch to lock into the stroller and I found it very difficult to do, but if you don't lock them the seat is not secure at all.
