Okay so my plan is to start introducing cereal between 6/7 months and I wanted to make my own baby food and I was hopping they would just give me cereal and an extra check for fruits and veggies but nope that didnt happen. So whatever im not too upset but what the hell am I going to do with 96 jars of baby food and 4 boxes of cereal!! And im breastfeeding!! Do they think im going to feed my child all of that in a month!! And the check starts on dec 2nd and im going to introduce food in january. Smh they dont listen! Lol I just buy banana baby food and eat it myself!!

I know its alot but its better than not getting wic at all. But I agree with bahamamama...just donate it to someone who cant get wic.

For breastfeed babies its at 6 months and I belive for formula babies its 4 months

I wish I qualified for wic it would really help since I'm losing so much money not getting paid fill time anymore and loading a full months pay when the baby comes

My son is a formula baby.
He's six months old, and they just started giving him cereAL ( 24 ounces) and they give 32 (4 ounce) jars of vegetables and fruits. ajd this month 7 cans of formula.

Give it to a local shelter. Or if you in line and see a lady with a baby ask her if she needs it.

What do you need to bring to the wic office to apply?

@kritten_octoberbby i actually just talked to my wic office today (i'm almost 38 weeks, put this off way too long) and the girl i talked to told me to bring in proof of pregnancy (a signed note with an estimated due date from your doctor), proof of residency (just a piece of mail with your name on it), proof of income (recent paystub), and proof of identity (lisence, social security, etc.)

they give baby food too? when i had wic years ago all they gave baby was cereal and formula... but yeah u must know people who could use it? i wanna buy the baby bullet and make all my baby food too

@2girls_1boy well a lot of people abuse the system (sad I know, people are horrible), I had wic in the beginning of my pregnancy bc my living situation with my mom was bad. Now that I am in a better situation I canceled my wic. I could have kept it, but I would feel bad bc there is a waiting list since the government is making cuts.
