So is Johnson & Johnson actually recalling their baby wash/lotion products or are they just putting it out their that, "Hey we've put chemicals that are harmful to your baby in our products. However, if you wanna go to another country we don't put those chemicals in our products."

I just saw the news and were talking abiut it but I don't think it was a recall, they are just letting the public know. They have come up with a new more natural shampoo. Did this apply to all their products including lotions or just shampoo and baby wash? As I understood other countries have not said anything about the bad ingredients and have accepted them.

From what I understood, the USA is the only place where the chemicals are present in their products. Our news Chanel placed several shampoos, washes (including the "natural" line) and I believe I saw lotion as well on the screen saying these are only some of the affected products. But I may be mistaken on the lotion.

@jwrnjjp - sorry I forgot the tag. @jellybelly1015 - I do believe I saw baby magic listed as well. @excitedforoctober - I have several bottles as well. But thankfully I also have baby aveno that I got as baby shower gifts that I've been trying to use up. @angel26 - all I really know is that in the USA J&J has put two chemicals in their products that have been found to be harmful to babies. But I can't seem to find out if they have chose to start a recall yet or not.

I just checked my bottle of Aquafor baby wash and its in that as well! I am taking the list to the store tomorrow to look for a different baby wash! This is nuts! It pisses me off that they can not put it in other countries products...but they have to take FOREVER to phase it out of the product in the states!

johnsons shea and cocoa butter wash doesnt have those things nor does the johnsons naturals products....thats what i have been using

It also says MAY BE not that it for sure can be harmful. My parents used it with me we used it with my nephew and were all fine. I think that its being made into a bigger deal then it should be and it hasn't actually been recalled.

Again this is just my opinion.

@navybabyonway - like I said in the original post, I'm was trying to find out if they are doing a recall or not. And some if us think its a big deal. This is stuff we are putting on our helpless babies, who need and trust us to do what's best for them. And you have no idea what kind of long term affects this stuff can cause. We have trusted this company to help us care for our babies and they have said to heck with our babies health. They are gonna put this crap in their product any way cuz it prolongs the shelf life of the product. So yeah a lot of us have an issue with that.
