Skin peeling and baby acne?

at 9 days is it normal? It looks uncomfy so I worry I'm a ftm so I worry about everything our could it be the soap he is allergic to? Most the peeling is on his body and most his acne is on his face I haven't put any loation on his face or anything can I help with the peeling or acne?

The peeling is very normal. It's from where they were in water so long. You don't need to switch soaps or use lotion, it will go away on it's own. Same thing with the acne!

I used breastmilk on Adalyn's acne and it cleared up within 36 hours. If you bf then maybe try that. I just dabbed it on after I fed her and cleaned her face.

I actually read it on here :-) I just dabbed it on and left it. I was amazed at how quickly it cleared up.

Both things are normal, you're not supposed to put lotion on them for a while it will make it worse.

yup breastmilk for acne and maybe some olive oil or something similar for the peeling.
i know i posted breastmilks many uses but maybe it was posted before

Yup bm works wonders lol. I squirt it on Brody's face and leave it on for an hour or so then warm wash cloth no soap to gently wipe his face. Also they get acne from our greasy hands make sure you wash your hands often it will help. Dry skin is normal.

I was heated becuz a lady at my church said ur baby is to young for a rash i told that hussy ITS BABY ACNE U DUMMY! UGH just tried the breast milk i hope it works!

I used Aquaphor. It worked, but then again my son is two months. Try the bm, looks like it works.

Peeling is normal

don't put lotion on the peeling kuz it could burn. It burned my baby girl so I just put a lil vaseline on it and left the peeling alone. And baby acne is normal too.

She would cry every time I put it on her and that area would be hot.

When I put a cold rag on the area and gently wiped the lotion off she stopped crying

I still haven't used lotion on her yet, i bought baby aveeno stuff that has aloe and oatmeal in it so that should be good. If not ill just get her creamy vaseline.

Breastmilk made my babies acne much worse! I kept hearing use your bm from preglies. Then I used it & it got worse & I started hearing that it makes it worse from preglies! Lol
