LMAO @ The pain is in my head...I guess I imagined the whole damn thing then LOL I always knew I was crazy...but this brings a whole new meaning to it haha
@yummymummy1, you made me think for a second with that one! Lol :-?
natural childbirth n. A method of childbirth in which medical intervention is minimized and the mother often practices relaxation and breathing techniques to control pain and ease delivery.
Pain in my head? Psh! Let someone tell me the next time I have a kidney stone that the pain is in my head...every nurse and doctor attending me will be on the floor! ;-)
But I understood what she meant. A lot of women can control the pain with hypno and other techniques...I'm not into all that work. Shove that needle in my back and we're good!
@homebirthadvocate I think eather way with or without drugs, menatlly trying to ignore or control the pain, or whatever may be the case. You will always feel the pain rather it's severe or not so severe. I mean we're pushing human heads out of our bodies.
My son didn't latch but not because of the epi because my nipples r small they are bigger now and I know to do nipple stimulation before my surgery to help I have a good.feeling my daughter might latch
Yes I know I was just saying my personal experience I loved my epi and glad I did it that way rather then to listen to other people just so I could say I did without it.
Well @Jules I think they were just answering my question since I asked which is better the epi or the natural way and I wanted a good explaination of why they say this or that is better. So they would have to talk more about their experience with their natural births if they chose that, which does kinda sound like bragging. But since i've never gaven birth before I wanted to know others experiences with it.
