I just had my son yesterday. My water broke at 11:30 pm on Saturday, I had him yesterday at 6:07pm. I pushed for 11 minutes and he was out. So I gave birth the day before my due date.

Dude, my due date is 3 days away, and I'm still pregnant. I am sooooo uncomfortable, constantly contracting, losing bloody shows and mucus plugs.. Lol, but still no baby. At least you're dilated to a 4, I'm still at a 2 1/2. I'm probably not going t…

@BigBelly exactly. I agree 100% with what you said.

We choose to have our son's done last year due to religious reasons, and personal preferences aswell. We plan to get this little guy's done aswell as soon as I have him. I know with my first son, the procedure was quick, he didn't cry much, but he d…

I'm still pregnant, but I've been having back pains on top of the other symptoms starting today. I'm pretty sure labor is around the corner. Not to mention that I'm only a week away from the due date anyways. I just hate going through the pain a wee…

Oh Geeze... Gotta say macaroni and cheese along side a scoops of mashed potatoes and gravy.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I do think it should be at the parent's discretion, but at the same sense, I gave birth last year in November, and both my daughters who are 5 and 6 now, ended up getting a stomach virus from being up a…

Too old! I shower with my 5 and 6 year old daughters sol mainly because they suck at washing their hair correctly.. They never get it all! Lol. And its simple for me to one, not have to bend down giving them a bath, and two, I kill 3 birds with one …

Chicken fried steak with homemade mashed potatoes, macaroni, gravy, corn, and rolls. And homemade chicken and sausage gumbo with homemade mashed potatoes. I'm dying right now thinking about those. Lol

I'm late, lol, but congrats! I had my son whom I named Liam last year about a month after you! Gotta love that name!

Thanks guys. It's really comforting hearing that. And supposedly, the trainee was only checking to see how dialated I was to give me the okay to push or not. I just remember a bunch of fluid rushed out after she had stuck her hand in me, and they Sa…

No, my water had broken long before the cord prolapsed. I was about 8cm dialated, and told them I felt like I needed to push. It happened while one of the trainees at the hospital was checking me, which they did every 30 minutes. I thought once the …

I'm up for a vbac on January 28th 2013. I had my csection November 27th 2011 because of a prolapsed cord. But I had two vaginal births 5 and 6 years before that. My Ob says I'm good for the vbac and have a 75% chance of everything going fine. I'll b…

I feel the same way. It's been so hard for me too because my hubby has been sick with the flu this past week.. So my butt has been sleeping on the couch, 8 months pregnant, in the hoes of not getting it.. But I'm missing all the bonding between us. …

Word! I totally agree with soon2b3! My mother has never been happy with me becoming pregnant with any 4 of my children. She doesn't support me our my children, and doesn't care for them ever since we live 2 days away from her. I just don't give a sh…

That is too cute! They can be so dang smart at such a young age! I would try giving it a couple days in between giving her milk. She'll most likely get over this fear of milk soon. Idk if I mentioned it already, I probably did, but have forgotten, b…

My sons bday is 11/27/11, and the only clear words he says are Daddy, dada, Mama, and he calls his older sisters Deedee, which I THINK stands for sissy... I think. He only says it to them two, and I'm constantly working on it with him. I'm bummed he…

Once you get her hooked on the ice cream, she'll acquire the taste for vanilla, and then you should be able to just give her vanilla flavored milk. If all goes as planned that is! Lol Isn't it so much fun being a mom?! It can be almost like being a …

My husband and I normally don't give each other gifts for Christmas... Or anything for that matter. This will be the first year that we have actually gotten one another gifts for Christmas. Normally, we don't have the funds, so what we have goes to …

Omgsh! You could try vanilla ice cream! See if she'll eat it, then as it melts, try giving her some that has melted. Maybe you have to trick her to like milk again..?
