  • She's 10 1/2 months but not walking just yet. I suspect it will happen soon though. She can stand up without pulling herself up.
  • My daughter sleeps 13 per night. Never had an issue in many, many months. I feel like my husband and I were not properly initiated into parenthood. She's about 7 1/2 months and hasn't once woken up in the middle of the night crying (even with hav…
  • Good for you, @ta2edblondie! :)
  • Ah, ok. Sorry, ladies! @Mrz_Jackson, @Mimii36
  • @Mrz_Jackson, Tylenol is acetaminophen; Advil is ibuprofen. A baby can take Tylenol for teething as early as three months usually.
  • Agreed, @Steph_Due_101611. My daughter was never interested in chewing hers anyway. Being capable of supervision is always a prerequisite to buying one of these. ;)
  • She's been wearing it at night, but we also wrap it around her ankle. It's supposed to work best when it's closer to the source of pain, however. They do say to allow two or three days for the effects to kick in. I know that for some it's a mirac…
  • My daughter has one, as well, and she's been wearing it for a month or so. Not sure that it's helping because she's still incredibly fussy, but she at least sleeps 10 1/2 to 11 hours a night. Not that that's any different from the usual. I still …
  • At 4 1/2 months, my daughter was 14lbs, 12oz and 27 inches. She'll be 5 months on Wednesday. Not sure what she is now, but I'm guessing a little over 15lbs.

  • Not really much of a difference between February 29th and March 1st other than 24 hours, which in the whole scheme of things, doesn't make a difference. I would personally do March 1st since it's the day after the 29th (matches up as day 30 if ther…
  • Aquaphor is my favorite. You don't have to use much, it's not messy like Desitin and it works really fast. It's more expensive, but you can use it so sparingly that it lasts a while. It completely clears any of that up on my daughter in less than…
  • Baby Bullet. It's worth the money. :)
  • @mommy2Ari and @ExcitedForOctober, I think it has something to do with the air they can suck in from the bottle. They don't get that breastfeeding. That's just my educated guess though.
  • Yeah, breastmilk like the ladies said. I've heard of urine being used for cuts or sterilizing your feet but not being put on an eye. I'd question whatever source you got that info from.
  • My daughter is over 4 months now. She eats 7 oz every 3-4 hours, and she sleeps from about 8:15/8:30 to 7:00, so she's only eating 5 times per day.

  • We had a pretty easy transition, and I think it's because we started so early. We first put her in her crib when I went back to work. She was 6 weeks then. Plus, she was already sleeping through the night. She's over 4 months now, and she still …
  • My daughter's does the same (sinks and pulsates). She's over 4 months now. I'm pretty sure that's normal. ;)
  • Call me weird, but my daughter is only watching cartoons I grew up on and ones before my time. The garbage they have out right now is ridiculous. The only newer movie she watches and really enjoys is "Tangled".
  • One of these days we'll have our babies. ;) I would have thought it would have stopped at--say--43 weeks, but that sucker keeps on counting. ;) At least my daughter was born on her due date, so it's easy for me to track (as if I would ever forget …
  • @Kimberly4411, I had the same problem. We first tried at about 8 weeks postpartum, and the first several times we were together, it did hurt (worse than losing your virginity). I'm about 11 weeks postpartum now, and it's pretty much back to normal…

  • My daughter is only just over 7 weeks but downs 5 oz every 3 1/2 hours (she'll go a 6-hour stretch at night though...probably longer if I didn't get her up when I get up for work).
  • Definitely normal. It's for the same reason your baby may be asleep with her eyes open at times: Lack of motor control with the eyes.
  • You have to keep in mind that your baby is consuming liquids all day, so the stools will be runny. Once he/she is on solids, that's a different story. LoL.
  • You won't dry up if you're still actively breastfeeding, and acetaminophen and ibuprofen won't dry you up either.
  • Lovely, isn't it? LoL.
  • Definitely normal. Should have a sort of sour/yeast-like smell.
  • My daughter started doing it off and on through interaction at two days old (we actually have a couple professional photos from the hospital at two days old where she has a big smile on her face). She's just over 6 weeks now, and the past 2-3 weeks…
  • I don't know about Vicodin, but it should be fine as its ingredients (acetaminophen and hydrocodone) are good. Ibuprofen (Advil) is also fine. Tylenol is acetaminophen.
  • Yeah, I was going to ask if you were sure it's sweat and not urine. Do you make sure to point his penis down?
  • @2ndbutfirst, interesting. I thought that was a sign of pyloric stenosis. You must have caught it before symptoms arose. I guess you had reason to get him checked since you both were unfortunate enough to have it.
