I'm 5 days overdue!
-
Hell no, I'd chew their faces off!
-
I was due on May 18th, but His Lordship still hasn't made an appearance! Please can you ladies sprinkle some 'swift safe labour' dust my way?
-
I have 4 days til my due date! Don't think my boy wants to wait that long as I'm in slow labour! :-D

@SamiUK I'm a Senior Support Worker in Nottingham, UK. I manage a house, providing support and supervision to a small group of adults with learning and physical disabilities to live their lives as they choose and to be as independent as possible. …

I'm from Nottingham, UK :)

Contrary to what a previous poster said, there are medical reasons for circumcision. My younger brother *had* to be circumcised due to his foreskin being too tight and causing his winky to balloon to the size of an orange whenever he needed to pee, …

SHUT UP mil! Call me 'fatty' again and I WILL smash your face into the nearest wall! SHUT UP friend! Our boy will NOT be tall, I'm no taller than a Hobbit and neither is my SO, so what on Gods green earth makes you think our boy will be tall? OH th…

When I've had folks tell me how huge I've got I just reply with " Well thanks for stating the blindingly obvious! You're really sharp and on form today aren't you, Captain Obvious!? Maybe it's got something to do with the fact I'm only 5ft tal…

:-D these nicknames are all so cute!

I love the NHS! I'd be in shit-street if we had to pay for our healthcare :-ss
-
Surely they wouldn't be giving you one if there were any risk to your baby, therefore I wouldn't worry :)

I'm due 18th May, but I don't think he'll wait that long. I'm pretty certain he'll arrive sooner rather than later and my Midwife agrees :-)
-
Our boy is nicknamed Womb-piggy! :-D

I'm a Senior Support Worker and I run a house supervising 3 adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible. I've just started maternity leave and I'm taking 9 months off :-)
-
I haven't bought any maternity clothes apart from 3 pairs of massive pregnancy knickers - proper 'apple catchers' over-the-bump knickers! Sooo comfy! I'm 35 weeks now so the bump is tres huge, but I've always been a leggings and dress/smock top kind…

Could be pelvic girdle pain. You'll need to chat with your doctor about it who may refer you to a physiotherapist. It's basically because your producing a lot of the hormone Relaxin which softens the ligaments around your pelvis ready for birth. But…

Here in the UK we're not told not to eat deli meat, just steer clear of certain cheeses. But I've noticed a lot of differences in the US and UK's approaches to pregnancy. It's fascinating and really interesting to read :-)

If one other idiot tells me my boy is going to weigh at least 10lb I'm going to stab them in the eye with a sharp stick!

I'm 5'1" and 35 weeks. I'm huge! I always say I'm not short, I'm down to earth ;-)

I'm having a similar problem. My OH has picked a name I hate, yet he refuses to let me pick a middle name. Our boy will have 2 middle names so I don't see what his problem is. He's just point blank refusing to compromise. I could quite happily set f…

My boy is due 18th May :-D

Almost a year to the day after having my Mirena coil out.

No worries ladies, glad I could help :)

Sounds like Pelvic Girdle Pain/Symphesis Pubis Discomfort. A physiotherapist will advise some physio exercises that do work amazingly well. I was virtually crippled with the pain but after 2 weeks intensive input from my physiotherapist the pain w…

Chopped up apples, bags and bags of Haribo and cheese sandwiches - but only if my OH makes them. I don't know what makes his sandwiches any different, but they're just delicious!

I don't think it's recommended due to the risk of infection. Obviously not just at the piercing site, but in case of the transference of other blood-borne nastiness.
-
I wouldn't advise castor oil as it causes diahorrhea which then causes stomach cramps which will initiate contractions. Midwives here in the UK advise against castor oil as it brings a whole world of problems with it.

@SamiUK I'm 33 weeks :-)
